As part of our 'package' of support for the education and career development of our members, we hold breakfast seminars several times a year on subjects that include employment law, and tax and investment advice for SMEs generally and for Interim Executives specifically.
Previous events have included free seminars on key Employment Law developments in 2009 / 2010. An excellent overview of the latest case law developments and practical guidance on how these decisions will affect your business or the business of your clients was discussed. An update on key legislative developments also provided attendees with the knowledge to tackle forthcoming changes in Employment Law and how this impacts on future business strategy.
Additionally, we hold seminars on how to run your own business in the most tax-efficient manner, how to plan for business succession / exit strategy, tax efficient investments from a business and personal perspective and much more.
These seminars are provided by our respected partners, usually at no cost, over breakfast. Members will be notified via email of upcoming events and bookings are confirmed on a 'first booked' basis.
I have been a member of the API from its inception and so far have had the opportunity to significantly raise my profile amongst the interim management providers. This has enabled me to be put forward for many more assignments than the average number of opportunities that you can reasonably expect as an interim manager operating on your own.
The API is the professional membership body representing experienced and new career Interim Managers.
