We have never before had the opportunity to really know how to develop our interim skills, except through on-job experience. API has produced practical videos, competency profiles, and on-line modules with the Open University, which gives me a chance to really work on becoming a more effective interim manager, alongside my functional responsibilities.
We run full-day workshops every month in London, providing Executives and Managers looking at Interim Management for the first time with the vital information they need to succeed in their career. It goes much further than simply presenting facts about the market place (which is where most other workshops stop).
These workshops are as invaluable to practising interims as they are to new starters. They offer excellent techniques and tips on how to successfully sell and market yourself and your services to providers and clients alike and a clear understanding of the best routes to market.
