Ethics At Work: Professional Ethics In The 21st Century

The API identifies upholding standards as one of the most important underlying competencies of an interim manager. Ethics at work gives participants an understanding of ethical argument as it can be deployed in a wide variety of contexts, and of the theories and concepts that underlie most or all ethical argument.

The course looks at a generic case study presenting ethical issues and examples in the form of an audio drama. It is aimed at professionals at a level where they can expect to handle complex, important and topical ethical issues in their practice. It will not teach the content of the formal ethical codes applying to a specific profession, but instead features a case analysis that exposes the considerations, judgment and compromise that practicing professionals require when handling complex ethical issues.
